FAIR Marketplace

Find AI suppliers for public and private projects. Each supplier has a FAIR passport that says what it offers, where it works and where it keeps data, and shows whether its AI system holds a FAIR certificate.

0 suppliers listed, 0 of them with a FAIR certificate in force.

How it works

  1. A supplier registers and lists its AI services, software, AI credits and other offerings.
  2. Its AI system is assessed against FAIR. A certificate appears on the passport when it is issued, and comes off if it expires or is revoked.
  3. Suppliers confirm their details at least every six months. A profile that is not confirmed stops being suggested.
  4. A buyer describes a project and is shown the suppliers whose published information fits.
  5. The buyer takes its shortlist into its own RFQ, RFP or RFT process.

About this service

It does not run tenders

The Marketplace helps a buyer find and document candidate suppliers. It does not evaluate bids or award contracts. Eligibility, evaluation and award stay with the buyer, under the rules that apply to it, such as the PFMA and supply chain management rules in South Africa.

Where the information comes from

FAIR status is read from the public register each time a page is shown. Everything else on a passport is declared by the supplier. Buyers should check registration details, such as a CSD number, in their own systems.

How suppliers are suggested

The same published rules apply to every supplier: capabilities covered, sector experience, FAIR status, local presence, and how recently the profile was confirmed. Each suggestion lists its reasons. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
